Manushi Design was proud to be enlisted as the interior designer to renovate this 13 acre former Tudor farmhouse in the heart of The Cotswold. The renovation consisted of the farmhouse, a large barn, staff cottages, a poolhouse and a piggery converted into a gym and cinema.

 

The house was completely gutted and renovated sympathetically using traditional methods and craftsmanship sourced locally. Horsehair plaster and Cotswold stone was used throughout ensuring that the property met all the planning restrictions and all original wooden beams, ironwork and windows restored.

 

Antiques were paired with beautiful fabrics to bring out the character of the house. It was important to maintain the feeling of country living, the history and form whilst ensuring the property remained stylish and luxurious. Art and tapestries sourced locally, at auction and in Paris completed the look of the property.
